SOFT's client located in New York, NY ( Hybrid ) is looking for a Event Coordinator for a long term contract assignment. Qualifications: - Demonstrated experience overseeing very large-scale events. - Demonstrated experience in executing events at the highest level and continuously raise the bar on content and the customer experience. - Demonstrated experience of proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less and a track record of staying on budget and delivering programs on time. - Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization. - Demonstrated experience creating registration sites in Cvent Responsibilities: - Consults with clients to strategize and advise on how to best deliver events that convene stakeholders in order to achieve desired business goals and outcomes. - Provides creative and forward-thinking approaches, suggestions, and solutions to clients in order to achieve desired business outcomes. - Consults, orchestrates, and manages service providers to negotiate costs for services; oversees them when they are onsite to ensure that clients achieve successful outcomes from their events. - Prepares pre- and post- event materials such as event registration websites and post-event surveys, distributes event website links, and coordinates the production of printed materials and signage. - Acts as event host for virtual events by conducting practice sessions and managing live events in the role of Event Producer. - Coordinates onsite logistics and physical access requirements for event participants with the Law Enforcement Unit and business area event host; monitors participant safety while onsite for events and manages external vendors while they are onsite for an event. - Prepares supporting documentation that includes event notes and expense estimates; ensures compliance with discretionary spend policies. - Stays abreast of industry and technology trends to keep the Bank at the forefront of utilizing best practices. |
